Public officials and non profits can benefit from current data trends regarding the supply of and demand for campgrounds. This type of accommodation is an important part of the Outdoor Hospitality and Recreation industry. Community leaders are being asked to make campground planning decisions that can impact their communities economic and community well being. This presentation will provide findings on the supply of campgrounds in the public and private sector as well as trends in campground demand including user profiles and emerging product types (e.g. Glamping, Cabins, etc.)

2. Understand the Demand trends in Campground Users over the last decade and how that should impact planning decisions.
3. Understand emerging trends in types of Camping to assist in identifying opportunities to expand types of camping within public campgrounds.
