NORC (national outdoor recreation conference)

Arizona will present on efforts that we have and are using for our statewide plans including SCORP and our Statewide Trails plan to reach out to underserved groups to participate in these plans. We will discuss some of the tools and data we use to get them involved in the planning process and follow up with targeted outreach to this communities and assist with using these funds for some of their outdoor needs. Ways to engage underserved communities, assisting these communities to have competitive applications without professional grant writers, and new ways (at least for Arizona) to collect data.
