How does outdoor recreation policy go from an idea to law? What happens when the law is passed and an agency has to implement it? What does it mean for communities and groups that want to make the law work for them? During this session, participants will hear from a policy expert, a federal agency legislative affairs specialist, and an attorney and community member who are all working to help make sure outdoor recreation legislation benefits the public.
