NORC (national outdoor recreation conference)

This session will recap and build upon the previous days' scenic, cultural, recreation and natural landscape element field work.

• Participants will learn several ways the results of the inventory can be assessed cumulatively and communicated.
• They will work in teams to develop plan to monitor trail resources, qualities, values, associated settings and primary uses long term. 
• Draft data standards will be shared to improve consistency, monitoring, and interagency cooperation.
• Participants will critique recent NSHT IAM reports and discuss how they can be used in land use planning efforts.
