Conservation Finance Toolbox for Outdoor Recreation Projects

Conservation Finance is an effective way to fund large scale projects that have public benefit. While many may know about financing fuels reduction, public works and other public projects, conservation finance for outdoor recreation actually uses a suite of tools to identify sustainable funding opportunities. This session will feature the tools used by Quantified Ventures, the leader in outdoor recreation conservation finance, and a real-time case study of the feasibility of these tools. Land managers, local communities, and the non-profit TREAD are partnering to apply conservation finance principles to a suite of related outdoor recreation-enhancing projects in the central Cascades of Washington.
